Who I am and What I do
Hello, my name is James Wiseman, I am a traveling notary and loan signing agent located in Pasadena,California.
I am a state commissioned public officer who is Licensed, Bonded and Insured to work in the state of California.
I am a professional of verified integrity appointed by the government.
I have two separate job titles that I work under. One as a Notary Public and the other as a Loan Signing Agent.

I help the borrower fill out and sign their loan documents as a closer and witness. I am hired to insure all pages are filled out correctly before being returned.
I am hired in this capacity by banks, mortgage companies, title companies, and directly by home owners.		 I administer oaths,certify documents and other duties as an impartial unbiased witness. I work for you, the public, when you need a notary public to be your witness.

I travel so you do not have to.
The best thing about my service is no matter which job you need handled I come to you. You do not have to worry about getting a baby sitter, taking extra time off work or trying to move someone with limited mobility for a simple document that needs to be witnessed. There is no rushing to an office hoping to get there before it closes. I can even meet you at your office so you never have to leave work.

When you hire me as a Loan Signing Agent you will not have to worry about incomplete documents preventing a closing. I believe that purchasing a home is a big deal and no one should feel rushed even when time is an issue so I make sure the job is done correctly the first time without wasting time. I am there to help your client feel relaxed and at ease about what they are signing by going to a familiar place they feel comfortable in. My goal is to help you and your client close the deal with ease and confidence.
I do not over lap my schedule to try and squeeze in one more client which allows me more time with your client.
When I am hired as a Notary Public only I make sure you feel comfortable by my having confidence in knowing how to do my job so you can relax without being pressured. I do not rush you during your signing so you do not have to worry about the next person in line or if I have to go to another appointment.

  • My fees for a loan document signing are based on document size, travel time-(distance), and document printing not how I am feeling that day.

Office visits by appointment only, no drop in's. Please call to schedule a notary or loan signing at the office as well as a location signing.

My local area is within 10-15 miles of my office in Pasadena.
My regular hours are between 9:00am to 7:00pm but I do make appointments after hours depending on the hour and location.

Notary fees are set by the state at $10.00 per signature we witness and no one can charge more for this service.
A notary can only charge extra for travel or other fees such as after hours or e-document printing related to loan packages.

I know my job and take it very serious so you have less to worry about.
I only ask that you please respect my time and others by trying to keep all appointment times and giving me adequate notice if canceling your scheduled appointment.
